From the different areas we looked at and group discussions, we have realized that we are most interested in looking at how mainstream Media represent young people and how it affects an individual’s perception of the body image. We made our decision from our individual ideas. From our ideas we decided to select aspects from our individual ideas. We decided to take the aspect of looking at the issues that affect young individuals, from my idea and target it at those who are affected by self perception. Zahra's topic on Racism allowed our decision to look at how issues impact and effect young individuals. Sahedul explored his idea (drugs) and realised that the media has a huge impact in this area, he was drawn in by how media present information and topics.
After much discussion, we concluded that our documentary would explore:
